Sport Premium Funding
The PE & Sport Premium is government funding that helps primary schools enhance the quality of PE, sport and physical activity for all pupils. At Hutchinson Memorial CE First School, we use this funding in line with the latest DfE guidance to deliver additional and sustainable improvements that will benefit our children now and in the future.
At Hutchinson Memorial we are committed to:

- Broadening the range of sporting and active opportunities our pupils enjoy, from extra-curricular clubs to inclusive competitions.
- Encouraging healthy, active lifestyles, ensuring every child—regardless of background or ability—can take part and thrive.
We strictly adhere to all DfE requirements: publishing a full breakdown of our spending and outcomes each year, and ensuring the Premium is used only for the purpose intended—not for ongoing core staffing or capital projects.
Our ambition is simple: to embed a culture of enjoyment, challenge and achievement through sport, ensuring every child at Hutchinson Memorial thrives physically, socially and emotionally.
